If you ask me bunny should be starting this but since she's taking her own sweet time.. I shall start
Why do we love?
What makes us so attracted, so drawn to particular people which in the end we say we love?
What is love that our lives revolve around it?
Why does it make us happy?
Why do we love only to have it end in tears?

Why does our life seem to revolve around it when we don't even understand it?
I don't get it....

well I have asked a total of everyone on my contact list but only like 3 people have answered.
Ranging from I have no idea
and another one but I sort of forgot it because the convo got deleted.... yeah....
it was a good convo too...
Everyone has their own specific reasons why they love but why people love... you know... on the whole...
it's just hard to answer...
I mean I just say because we can but as I well know Bunny will retaliate with more questions....

You know...I know I love people...but I just don't get why...Why do the things that they do make me love them? Why when I look at them do I know I love them?
Gah....It's killing me...

see, now you're last question I don't agree with. Who's to say it always ends in tears? I don't know how old you all are but I'm going to assume we're all teenagers here. Things have only really just begun, it's not like you're going to find the love of your life at sixteen.
And then there's another question to consider: Do soulmates exist?
Personally I think they do but not like Cinderella and Prince Charming bullshit. There's just somebody out there who gets you one hundred percent, and that person is the person you should be with. Why do our lives revolve around love? Because if you love somebody, it gives you this feeling like everything is okay. And I don't know anything else in the world that gives you that feeling. I think that's why we live for it, and why we bother getting up in the morning.

Well I said end in tears because I was quoting bunnicula here...
and like if someone loves someone else so much and that person dies.. yeah but anyway.
But why do we feel that way? why does that person get us so?
I mean I agree with you but we have some other people here...
that are aren't so convinced

Right....Why does it give us that feeling though?
Why are we completed by another person? Why can't we just complete ourselves?
But I do believe in soul mates..
But I still don't understand it....
I don't expect to find love at 16....I mean why even date in high school? It's pretty much not going to last...except in some rare cases....

well i'm sure some dorkheimer scientist has this whole explanation about cells and neuropathic waves and shit that explains why we feel that way, but I honestly don't know and couldn't tell you. it's just human nature, the way we have to be social, the way we live off of it, and personally i think it sucks balls. its just, you grow up thinking you're gonna turn 25 and marry this terrific guy and raise kids behind a white picket fence, like thats the way things should be. so you expect that. and not getting it is a disappointment, and a dissapointment is disheartening. thus we feel like shit.
but i've never fallen in love, so i couldnt give you details about that since i've never experienced it. but i'm thinking that once you do experience it, the answers to your questions will be there.

yes there's always an explanation in science... but who wants to listen to someone drone on about that?
It's just an interesting thing to ponder...

I've gotten another reply from a friend about this subject... it's actually an interesting point that I didn't even think of... well not totally...
"Because we have been raised that way.Our parents, along with the rest of society, have taught us that loving is good and everyone should do it. " --Catie

That's a good point....but then again..Why do they teach us that?
Yeah...I can't stop with the questions...

Well maybe that ties in with what Charity said....Didn't she say she loves because she had a creater that loves her?
