Because they are all different...
No two people think exactly alike....
Think about it....Okey so Two people like the same band, color, flavor of ice cream, music, book, etc. But there will be something that they don't agree on...Somewhere....
There are so many things..So many reasonings.. so many ideas..That there are endless combinations for people to chose....
You know for everything you hate...someone out there loves it....
For everything you love...someone out there hates it....
But the mind and the brain are two different things so keep that in mind....The mind is influnced by the brain yes but they really aren't the same thing...

You are influenced by everything...
Like 99% of the things you do are ruled by subconcious desires which come from everything....
everything that you go through, see, hear, touch, smell, think about, basically leaves an imprint on you somewhere deep inside your mind which affects how you think....

well think about it, even if you're just sitting there on the computer, you know so many things. you know the monitor is a monitor and what it's used for, you know the chair you're sitting in is black, or the clock reads 3:07 and fourteen seconds; nothing can ever compare to the human brain, it is a billion times more complex than the most state of the art computer can ever hope to be. and all that shit, all that info is simultaneous--plus you have the five senses which are complex unto themselves, and you also have memory which is another part of the brain....i mean thats the whole thing, nobody has a god damn clue how the brain works, not even the best scholars in the world can figure it out or even come close....
it's like, computers can add things up and shit, but they can't smell. they can't see. they can't speak freely. and like i said before, its one thing to be able to do all those things, but to do them simultaneously...its just amazing.

No one, not even science can explain how the mind works, in any shape or form. They cannot even tell you why you make the desisions that you do.
You're mind coinsides(sp?) with you're heart, soul, concious (dang I can't spell), or whatever you want to call it.
It's all about choices, and free will.
