They say that it is satanic and all that junk...which is dumb....Because it's not...It's just make believe! Get over it people...

Okay.
My opinon-
I don't like Harry Potter. I found it really childish and boring. I don't understand why some adults get so hyped up over it. My friend's Dad went to the store at midnight to get a copy of the new book. I'm all, "What the hell?". I read the second book, "Chamber of Secrets", or something like that. And the only reason I did was because I was on a plane to Hawaii from New York and I was extremely bored. It's not just Harry Potter that I dislike. I don't like the 'Wizardy' or 'Magic' type stories. I also dislike things like "The Lord of the Rings". They just irritate the hell out of me.
Last school year, my brother was in sixth grade. His "family" or section at his school had to read all of the Harry Potter books and do these ridiculous projects on them. However, any student that had a signed note from a parent stating that the Harry Potter books were conflicting with their religion, whatever it may be, were excused from the assignments and given an alternate. I strongly disagree with this. It's just a book that you're reading in school for an assignment.
Okay. I'm done.

Yeah, but you see, the Bible is strongly against witchcraft and wizardry. So the books clash with the way Christians think. But yeah it is stupid, because it is just a book series. What makes it even more stupid that they focus on Harry Potter is the fact that Christians also believe in abstinence and are strongly against sex out of wedlock, but they still go see types of movies/read types of books with teenage prostitutes and all..
But then again, they're probably focusing on the Harry Potter series because it a really big hit, plus the Pope is against the books and what Christian in their right mind who disagree with the Pope?

My friend, who is a major Christian, won't read the books. She doesn't celebrate Halloween. And I remember from when we were little, she couldn't watch Scooby Doo.
She always tells me I'm going to go to hell.
Oh well...See you all there?

me?
and if Sweep was really popular then the Pope'd be against that too and in which case...
bunny?
but yeah the whole o0o0o0o0o0o0 against magic it's evil... I think is dumb, because people wrote The Book, and they wrote it from their perspective and from their superstitious minds, in a time where superstition was like everywhere. and unfortunately today people still go with the book they use it as their like life force or something, and I'm like.. well fugg dat..
because I'll live how I like and if God is Forgiving, which is what everyone says, well a lot of people, then there's really not much threat of it..
and about the going to hell bit.. tell your friend she's going there for passing judgement on you...

No come on there are far worse things that you could do than read a book...Really....
Besides you aren't supposed to follow the Pope you follow God....The Pope isn't God....
